The conference is free to all Silver Fern Farms Farmer shareholders and farmer-suppliers.
Shareholders will be given preferential allocation.

Please note - you will need your Shareholder or Farmer-Supplier Number to complete the registration.

In addition to confirming attendance at the main conference session, you will be asked to register for various optional activities:

The Welcome BBQ dinner and with that, the opportunity to spend some time with fellow farmer suppliers. The final of the 2019 Silver Fern Farms Boning Competition will also take place on this evening. Space is limited so be sure to select a ticket to secure your place.

The Plate to Pasture Awards give us the opportunity to recognise our farmers who live and breathe food and understand what their consumers want from quality red meat and the people who produce it. Set in among some of New Zealand’s most historic aircraft in the hall of Wigram Airforce Museum, the overall winner of the Plate to Pasture Award will be announced.

If you have family travelling with you that would like to attend the Plate to Pasture Awards Dinner ONLY, please select additional tickets here. Space is limited; should you want more than two tickets person, preference will be given to shareholders. Please put your request for additional tickets in the free format box below. Anyone attending the conference sessions should complete their own registration and select a ticket for the Plate to Pasture Awards Dinner in that registration.

Visit the Cross Brothers Farm in Pemberley. Former Plate to Pasture regional finalists, it's a great chance to see this award winning property and hear about their latest farming insights.

Getting There
Silver Fern Farms will be putting on coach transfers to / from the farm. That said, we may need to 'carpool' some participants at farm as coaches won't be able to access all areas. As some attendees will be driving, please let us know if you will have a 4WD and be able to 'carpool' on site at farm for the tour.

Been to one of our plants? This is a great opportunity to take a tour of our Belfast Beef Plant and to see the care and expertise in action and our skilled beef graders at work.

Silver Fern Farms will be putting on coach transfers to / from the Belfast Plant. Please let us know if you do or don't have a car so we can arrange the right size coach.

Travel and Accommodation Suggestions

Just a reminder, attendance at the Plate to Pasture 2019 Farmer Conference is complimentary. You will need to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements. Below are some great options, the conference is being held at Chateau on the Park and Towers on the Park is just across the road with plenty of properties in the Riccarton area.

The Towers on the Park

Towers on the Park offers comfortable modern accommodation with free Wi-Fi and digital satellite TV. All rooms receive daily servicing and include private off-street parking and access to the guest laundry.

Each studio and apartment includes a refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. Some accommodation also offers a microwave and ironing facilities. Each offers a private bathroom with a shower. Some units also have a spa bath.

Parkview On Hagley offers apartment style suites overlooking Hagley Park. Enjoy the ever-changing outlook from some of the rooms. The hotel property has complimentary access to a gym nearby and car parking onsite.
